Mr. David Krack has extensive experience in heavily-regulated and high-hazard industries and has been at the forefront of regulatory compliance initiatives, having negotiated special compliance directives with regulatory agencies where no standards had existed for the control of lead, chemical pesticide and ergonomic exposures.
Specific areas of strength include health, safety and on-site medical management, supervisor training, database system development, the defense of regulatory actions and planning of corporate objectives. He has a no-nonsense approach to program development and implementation, ensuring that the program is effective, sustainable and cost effective. Strategies are developed to leverage resources company-wide to meet the overall objective.
His clients rely on Mr. Krack for guidance in all regulatory compliance and program development matters, such as the Injury and Illness Prevention Program, bloodborne pathogens, confined space entry, lockout – tagout, ergonomics, industrial hygiene surveillance and on-site professional staffing.
Before the start-up of ohp, Mr. Krack was the Manager of Safety and Industrial Hygiene at New United Motor Mfg., Inc. [NUMMI], responsible for managing the occupational health and safety function at the very start-up of the company in 1984.
He is also a lecturer in Environmental Health and Safety Engineering at San Jose State University and enjoys bringing his experiences to the classroom.
